Chester County Cheese Dinner at Nectar

For Earth Day on April 24, Chef Patrick Feury of Nectar in Berwyn, PA will honor Chester County cheese artisans with a very special meal. He’ll recreate the 5-course Farmland Dinner that he prepared recently at the James Beard House.

Here’s why you should go:

  • The first course is Birchrun Hills Blue Cheese and Spinach Dumplings
  • For dessert: Seven Sisters Ice Cream (from Doe Run Farm) and Parsnip Cake
  • Chef Feury, formerly of Le Cirque, was just featured in Best Chefs of America 2013

Tickets to the dinner (full menu below) are $85. A portion of the proceeds support the Brandywine Valley Association, a nonprofit that supports land stewardship. For reservations, contact Nectar: 610.725.9000.
